PANDUAN KEMASUKAN

INTRODUCTION

The Manpower Department Training Institution (ILJTM) was established to provide and implement pre-employment skills training programs to meet the needs of the country's industrial sector. ILJTM consists of twenty-two (22) Industrial Training Institutes (ILP), four (4) High Technology Training Centers (ADTEC) and a Japan-Malaysia Technical Institute (JMTI).

ILP offers certificate level programs & advanced certificate, while ADTEC and JMTI offer Diploma and Advanced Diploma level programs. The main objective of ILJTM is to produce optimal human resources through industrial skills training programs.

STUDENT RECRUITMENT

Recruitment to ILJTM is done twice a year, in January and July each year. Ads will be released in March and September. The way to apply is by Online Application (online) on the JTM website (http://www.jtm.gov.my) for the January admission session and on the website of the Student Admission Management Division, Department of Higher Education (http://upu.mohe.gov.my) for the July admission session. For applications through the UPU website, applicants are required to purchase a unique ID number at Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) for RM10.60 through a BSN counter, ATM or SMS Banking.


FACILITIES

JTM provides various facilities at each of its training Institutions; such as dormitory facilities, food, lecture halls, laboratories, training workshops, sports facilities & leisure, canteen, computer lab, library and so on.
