A09 - Metal Fabrication Technology Certificate

PROGRAM INTRODUCTION:

This course indeed provides extensive job prospects in the industrial sector to students. Through this course, students will be exposed to theoretical and practical knowledge in the welding process that involves cutting and welding metal, carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum and so on. Among the types of welding used are Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), Submerge Arc Welding (SAW) and so on.

TRAINING PERIOD:

27 months 

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Malaysian:Can read, write and count;

Have SPM/SPMV with a PASS in the subject:

Malay language;

Mathematics/ Additional Mathematics; and

Science/Additional Science/ Applied Science/ Physics / Chemistry/

Not blind/color blind/sighted/deaf (without aids)/mute/physically disabled/parts that can make practical work and learning sessions difficult.

CERTIFICATION:

Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 1 to Level 3 commissioned by the Skills Development Department (JPK);

The Technology Certificate is commissioned by the Department of Manpower (JTM).
