QUESTION: WHAT ARE THE COURSES OFFERED BY ILP KANGAR?

Answer : There are 4 courses offered which are :- 

1. GENERAL MACHINING TECHNOLOGY 2. METAL FABRICATION TECHNOLOGY  3. INDUSTRIAL MECHANICAL TECHNOLOGY  4. MECHATRONIC TECHNOLOGY  5. WELDING TECHNOLOGY

QUESTION: WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS THAT ALLOW SOMEONE TO APPLY TO FOLLOW TRAINING AT ILP KANGAR?

Answer: The qualifications for the applicant are :-

1) Malaysian citizens

2) School leavers or industrial workers between the ages of 17 and 30.

3) Academic approval depends on the course applied for.

QUESTION: I AM INTERESTED IN GETTING A TRAINING AT ILP KANGAR. WHERE AND HOW DO I APPLY TO THIS ILP?

Answer: Applications can be made online from the website www.jtm.gov.my. Applicants can also contact ILP Kangar directly if there is internal recruitment and can also check the website www.ilpkangar.gov.my from time to time.

QUESTION: IS THE ILP GRADUATE CERTIFICATE RECOGNIZED BY THE MALAYSIAN GOVERNMENT?

Answer: The certificate issued by ILP is recognized by the Public Service Department through the Accreditation System by the National Vocational Training Council (MLVK) / Skills Development Department (JPK). Most ILP graduates do not find it difficult to obtain job opportunities in various sectors.

QUESTION :D WHERE CAN I CONTINUE MY LESSONS AFTER FINISHING THE TRAINING AT ILP?

Answer: You can continue your studies at a Skills Training Institution either under the Department of Manpower (JTM), the Ministry of Youth and Sports and MARA. Among the institutes under JTM are Japan-Malaysia Technical Institute (JMTI) and Advanced Technology Center (ADTEC). The institute offers training up to Diploma level. Other institutes are the Malaysian-France Institute (MFI), the German Malaysian Institute (GMI), the National Youth Higher Skills Institute (IKTBN) and other institutions that offer Skills Diplomas.
