INSTITUTE BACKGROUND 
        
                    
This institute was established by Manpower Department, Ministry of Human Resource. the main objective is to provide formal engineering training  to youth, industrial workers and many more. This institute is located at Padang Behor, Mukim Sena, 4 kilometers from Kangar town. The institute is 40.9  acre wide, worth RM108.5million. This institute can give training to 610 students at same time.
        
                
          
The usage of new computer information and technology will make training more efficient. There are experienced lecturers in this institute and most of them have Diploma and Degree in Engineering field.
